B'cuzz Clay Pebbles are of the highest quality and like the other substrates in the Bcuzz range, they carry the RHP quality mark. Clay Pebbles have certain physical advantages due to their special structure and texture, and they will improve the availability of water to the plant and its root capacity.
The amount of roots present in the substrate will have a direct influence on the pore structure and the water/air relations in the pot. Such roots will have a positive influence on proportion of water present and its division throughout the medium. Seedlings or cuttings will root extremely fast in B’cuzz Clay Pebbles.
The Clay Pebbles are primarily to be used as a medium for growing, but they can also be used as an additive to a soil substrate. Adding a layer at the bottom of a pot when using soil allows more oxygen into the soil substrate and helps with drainage.
Available in bags of 45 litres
Porous, lightweight, pH neutral and clean. Great for houseplants and many hydroponic uses. Can be re-used indefinitely and so are very economical.
These pebbles are manufactured specifically for plant culture. These are the perfect growing medium for house plants and almost anything in a small container.
There are however less suitable for large plants in large pots. This is because they are less efficient in lifting nutrient from the lower reservoir than other media available.
This is currently the most popular hydroponic soil substitute on the market. Composed of shale that has been pelletized and heat treated, these inert, sterile pebbles provide excellent aeration properties.
Their high water storage capacity, balanced capillary attraction, superb pH stability and the capability of being re-used makes them a real winner.
These pebbles are manufactured specifically for plants. They are an excellent medium for flood and drain or pot culture.
